My Grant Wrangler

Can any of you experienced and successful grant writers out there recommend an application for writing grants and databasing organization success stories and boiler plate grant language for one's organization in order to streamline the grant writing process?

I recommend getting copies of funded grant proposals, seeing which sections "speak" to you in terms of language you can modify for your purposes, and creating individual documents for each section you might need in a grant. In effect, you are creating your own boilerplates. I'm not familiar with any software that does this, but that might be because I just do it myself and reuse certain sections, modifying them for the purpose of each new project.

All in all, I'd say about 24-30% of a grant can be modified boilerplate, but that about 70-75% must be rewritten from scratch each time. If you do a certain kind of grant over and over, this might be 40%/60%, but no software is going to replace your great brain!
