Old, tired instruments

As with most things, musical instruments have a life span. The wear and tear they receive - even when played correctly - eventually turns them into little more than noisy room decorations.

Beginning with my marching percusson, I am hoping to find a grant or grants that will help me help my students...that is...they cannot perform at their best on worn-out or outdated equipment that needs repair on an almost daily basis just to get by.

Are there any other music directors out there who might be able to point me in the right direction?
