Seeking Start-up funding

Hello,

I am providing pro-bono work for a NYC community based organization with no operational budget.  The board members are volunteering their time and effort. Their focus is in preventive and intervention activaties during after-school, evening and weekend programs targeting at-risk youth from ages 6 to 18.   I am looking for private foundation leads as a start-up.  Any ideas?  Thank you!
