I am interested in grants to support literacy for Elementary age English language learners. Specifically to purchase unabridged recorded books (along with the appropriate book), since research shows that kids who read more, become better readers. ELLs improve their reading by listening to and following along in the book.

I am a middle school social studies teacher. I would love to apply for grants that would allow me to take my students on field trips for experiential learning. We are less than 2 hours from Shiloh but I cannot take my students on a field trip because we need the district buses for dismissals at other schools and the trip takes at least 8 hours to make it worthwhile. If there were grants that would allow me to use funds to charter buses I would be thrilled.
