Grants for sustainable energy?

I am teaching in a rural charter school and our district is looking at consolidating because of energy costs. Are there any grants available to schools to convert to sustainable energy? We currently have a solar panel, but it serves more as an educational component than an energy source. (In comparison to what we use.)
