Really, I don't know who Haylie is. I got an email asking to be connected and accept and I just clicked on it and said o.k. I figured it was through you or only 2 other people(3 total) on there who I asked to be friends - if that is the way it works. Haylie was never one of them until today when I was emailed (personal email -which is the schools).
I have not been on this site since I last spoke to you. I just want you to know I truly value your and my friendship above anyone one there. Anyones. If there is something I should know please tell me. Again, rest assured I stand with you in any and all cases. You are the only one I have had any personal or otherwise email contact with and I intend it to stay that way. If there is anything I can do name it.

You are correct I love what I do. I went to college for a year and a half and now I could what I want basically along what the principal may request.
Thanks for making me an offer I can not refuse- I would love to try the software. I teach K-5 Gifted. FCAT Writing is a big thing in Florida and principals have the option of buying what they want. Aso see whether you can get counties to use that program for x amount. I know here in Seminole County FL we buy the rights to program(s) for x amount of time. Only realize that it could be downloaded and well they then could discontinue the contract. You may have to have the program crash and burn in front of their eyes after a year. Better yet you may leave something out and then after a year you always have an improved model but everyone starts at the basic.
Also could you tell me whether it would help older students as in grade 9 and above who have difficulty writing?

In regards to software for writing that you have you have to go IRA, National Teachers Of Enlish workshops, etc. and convince the people passing your booth wow this is what I need. I would think. Personally if it was me I would offer it to someone to be a partner as say 51% you 49% them and get the money and be able to sell it.

You would offer to help write the grant after they have written an outline of information. I can see your hesitation but there are people who would go for it especially for a large grant. I am one of those gifted people that would go for. Two reasons, I would get a lot of money to spend for my purposes - gifted teachers get no money they have to improvise on their own. Two, the grant would show my principal I care enough not to ask for money but get it on my own. You on the other hand technically would get little or no credit just the money so to speak.

I would target a school/schools, e.g. your old schools. I would make a proposition to the teachers you know personally. "Look, I can get you some grants but the fee per grant is, e.g.$200.00". Then move on to another school and do the same thing. I tghink you can reuse some of the same info/grants for other schools just change the names/schools.
