How about a very simple pre/post survey which might be oral? Or a rubric which you (and others who see the students on a regular basis)use to evaluate their behavior or social ability before and after the grant?

I would like to know if there are templates/examples of how people have assessed pre-k to 1st grade students in regards to the success of grant objectives of improving learning, behavior, social ability, etc. I would like to see what other people have done so I can adapt it to my program.Thank you,RitaSee More

I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and work for a school district in an Environmental Education program. I have received a little grant writing training from the San Francisco Foundation and the Solano Foundation. The best training was to just write small grants for the practice. It has been helpful also to collaborate with experienced grant writers to see how they word information and what questions they ask.
I'm a graduate student, as well, in education. For my final project this fall I need to write a grant so I am looking for one to write.
